2017.12.03 Ghibli Museum

I met up with Sarah and her friend to hang out today. We had breakfast and then went to Kyoto Kan to participate in a tea ceremony workshop. We only have time for two people to do the ceremony since it's one on one and we have to rush to the Ghibli Museum after so I let the two do it and I just watched. Along the way walking, we saw some children making mochi!!!! The girl who was pounding the mochi was so adorable and full of energy. I love this energy.

We arrived to the Ghibli Museum right on time. The tickets were only 1000 yen but we didn't know what to expect since photography is prohibited inside, so we thought it would be small. It actually had 3 floors and I think it's worth the 1000 yen. Inside, it shows things such as the work environment of the artist, his work in progress, his sketches, his inspirations, how Ghibli films were made, and etc. We also had access to an unreleased cut of a film (I don't know anything of it though or which famous Ghibli film it was related to though). Midway through the museum, we ate at the Ghibli Museum Straw Hat Cafe and then continue to explore. Unfortunately we ran out of time to explore the third floor. But it was still so fun!
