2016.10.11 Just a Chill'in Day

That very morning at 4 AM we arrived in Tokyo! The owner of the airbnb apartment we booked was so nice! The normal check in time was 2~3 pm however I let him know our situation on our flight was super early, he allowed us to come in early! So right off the plane, we made our way to airbnb place we booked.

On the train from the airport to the airbnb place!

We finally got to the place! It was easier to find than I thought it would.

And I think from the balcony, it was a very nice view of the neighborhood.

Shortly, we went down for breakfast. We just walked around and found a beef rice place to eat at. Since it was the legit first meal after coming to Japan for this trip, it was so hard for me to decide on what to eat since I love food so much and I'd love to try so much different kinds of food in Japan! Though I felt like eating lady's fingers(a kind of veggie) so I got the meal with that in it. (I had some lady's fingers at the child care part-time job and I was kind of craving it since then.) I love the meal I got! I mixed the lady fingers, egg, and the meat in the rice and everything was just so perfect together!

After breakfast, we met up with Annie to hang out since she's only going to leave Japan on 10/13 and we only have time to hang out on 10/11 and 10/12! Annie wanted to go to some vkei stores to look for a magazine so I guess we went there with her. It was pretty difficult for me in a way because I have to make sure my parents are ok with it and also at the same time chat with Annie and go to the vkei stores because Annie needs to look for a magazine..... Constantly I had to make sure my parents are fine with it. There was at a point where my parents are annoyed because we were kind walking in the circle of Puresound, Closetchild, Like an Edison, JishibanClub.. you know. that area of Shinjuku for Annie. Anyways, but it was fun and nice to see Annie because it's been more than a year and last year I only had an hour of seeing her! Obviously I enjoyed the Vkei stores, lol.

Saw these giant signed posters on the window of JishubanClub <3

After that, we went to J.S. Burgers to eat! (p.s. Koichi went to one of these too for his marshmallow burger! But the time I was able to be in Japan, the marshmallow burger was already discontinued.) I was hesitant to eat burgers because I never really liked much of them. The ones I ate always have dry meat. But since Annie really wants to go, I wanted to give a try too (plus, Koichi went to one of these J.S. Burgers! It must be good right??!!! LOL). So I was staring at the menu... and couldn't choose. But there was one that won me over: Bacon Egg.
That's great because I love bacon and I love eggs <3

Even their mugs are super cute!

My bacon and egg burger! IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD!

My dad's fish burger! My dad and I gave half of ours to my mom since we got two burgers to try/share only.

Annie and I wanted to try this pumpkin bread so we split this~ It was a little too sweet for me ( I just don't like heavy flavor things) but everything else was perfect! It was very fresh and I can taste the pumpkin flavors!

After that, we went to take purikura. I took one with Annie first and then I took one with my parents. I registered for the monthly subscription program to get all digital copies of the purikura! I'd prob have to cancel it when I leave Japan but for this month, I wanted to get this!

Annie told me that Julia wanted to come with us to get dinner and we stalled time before meeting up with her. We went to Muji and I found some chocolate covered dried strawberries!!! I love these things!!!! They were so much cheaper here than in USA. Not cheap but like cheaper... lol! But ofcourse, these are not the best since the chocolate is just ok. But it's still good to me!

Julia came around 5:55~6:00 and we went to a ramen place that Annie and I found. It wasn't that good. I love the egg ofcourse haha like always, but the noodle was the thick kind and the broth was too salty (>_<) I never like to waste food so I ate everything. It was not good but I guess it's still ok for me to eat the whole bowl.

I bought this near the Shinjuku Station West Gate! I love B-SIDE Label things!
(I don't know what on the keychain label... it says D-Side... but it is B-Side label that this keychain is from...)
