2017.11.22 Matenrou Opera: 10th Anniversary『PANTHEON TOUR -coda-』

Nicole and I went to Matenrou Opera's first live of their 10th Anniversary tour today! This live is FC members only. I'm not FC member but I bought the ticket off of someone and managed to go as well. After we got the tickets FC verified, we went to get dinner so we wouldn't starve at the live.

I was looking forward to this day because MO used to be my everything in fandom and I've longed to see them live but never did. That one time at the 2015 taiban didn't count because I felt very sick that day and I wasn't able to focus nor enjoy anything that day and it wasn't a one man. I was thrilled to finally experience a MO live. The feeling is different of course. The time that I like them as top was back in 2009~2012. If I got to see them back then, I would have probably cried from happiness. The feeling now is like I finally got to experience what I never did during the peak times and it's just to fill the gap of the missing fandom memories. I still had hopes though that they will play some old songs, the songs that got me into them back then. But I wouldn't expect too much since I know this tour is somewhat for their new album.

The live started and they all came out yay! I did not know any of the songs they played in the main setlist. I was trying to hard not to fall asleep and also I drank alcohol so I wasn't able to stand properly at times. I tried to do furi to make sure I don't tip over (if I keep myself moving, I wouldn't end up tipping over or like fall asleep). It kinda worked and kinda didn't work haha... Anyways, I was pretty bored, sorry! To my surprised, they played Honey Drop for the first encore song. OMG LIKE I WAS IMMEDIATELY FULL OF ENERGY AND LITERALLY DID ALL THE FURI FOR IT. I looooove Honey Drop and I am so glad I got to hear it live. It felt like I went to a live during the early times even though I didn't. I'm so glad I went even though I literally only fully enjoyed one song. How I wish I could have went to Japan in 2009 but I couldn't do anything about it and it's the past already. But it's fine, I'm happy still.

After the live I wasn't planning on buying any merch but since I love food.. I had to question Nicole if the MO manju are good or not... She told me it's good. Ok I was sold LOL! I was like if it's not good, she's gotta pay me 1000 yen since I trusted her words on it. I've tried it and I LOVED IT! IT WAS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD. LIKE VERY GOOD. Good job MO! I'm so glad I have tried it!

Also Nicole and I found out that we actually have once talked to each other on LJ before and I've sold a Sono cheki to her before too!!! It was a few years ago but omg.. we never knew that till I showed her what Sono chekis I currently have. The world is small.
